Services
AI leadership, unbundled.
Most $10M–$50M businesses don’t need a full-time Chief AI Officer. They need someone driving adoption, one piece at a time: Fractional CAIO, AI Implementation, AI Training and Enablement, each sold on its own.

01 / The STE Framework
Every engagement rests on three pillars.
Strategy
Fractional CAIO
We carry the accountability of a full-time Chief AI Officer at a fraction of the time: strategic roadmap, governance, and KPI tracking.
Transformation
AI Implementation
Hands-on build work: AI tools and automations, scoped to your business, with a 60-day break/fix window after delivery.
Education
AI Training and Enablement
Department-level training and the AI Ambassador Program: developing internal people who can build and manage AI tools independently.
02 / The Three Services
What’s included in each service.
You buy what you need. Here’s exactly what that gets you.
Fractional CAIO
Strategy and Governance
We own the strategic roadmap, govern tool decisions, and track KPIs. Accountable to outcomes, not deliverables.
- 90-Day AI Roadmap, produced during Discovery and refreshed every quarter
- Monthly strategic review meeting (45 min) with your leadership team
- Monthly written progress report with KPI tracking
- Quarterly Leadership AI Briefing: what's changed in AI, what competitors are doing, cumulative ROI against the original roadmap
- AI Acceptable Use Policy drafted during Discovery
- Build-vs-buy recommendations and vendor evaluations as needs arise
- Internal AI Ambassador identification and development guidance
AI Implementation
Builds and Deployment
We design, build, and deploy AI tools and automations. Scoped upfront, with a 60-day break/fix window after delivery.
- AI-assisted work tools: custom-configured AI for drafting, research, or document work
- Workflow automations: multi-step automations connecting your existing tools and systems
- Knowledge bases: searchable document Q&A systems built on your internal documents
- Leadership dashboards: live KPI dashboards from your existing systems, with an optional AI Q&A layer
- Workflow design session and an implementation brief before any build begins
- Build and test with real data, async sign-off via Loom walkthrough, one round of revisions, and a cheat sheet for the finished workflow
AI Training and Enablement
Sessions and Curriculum
Department-level training and the AI Ambassador Program: a team that can maintain and extend your AI capabilities after we're gone.
- All-Company AI Literacy Session (one-time, in the first active month)
- Department-specific training sessions as each area activates
- The AI Ambassador Program: a structured four-month curriculum that develops internal people who can identify, build, and manage AI tools independently
- Training materials and cheat sheets for every workflow covered
- Change management support
03 / How They Combine
Buy one, two, or all three.
No required starting point. Buying all three earns a multi-service discount, and the monthly cadence works best when strategy, builds, and training move together.
Real use cases for fewer:
- Implementation without CAIO: You know which workflows to prioritize. You need someone to build them.
- CAIO without Implementation: You have internal or contracted technical capacity and need strategic direction.
- Training without Implementation: Your team is adopting tools independently and needs structured enablement.
04 / How We Start
Onboarding scales to what you’re buying.
Starting with Fractional CAIO
Two weeks of leadership interviews, a systems audit, and an employee readiness survey, ending with a 90-Day Roadmap and a signed AI Acceptable Use Policy.
Starting with AI Implementation only
A single 60–90 minute scoping session on the target workflow, tools, and data sensitivity, producing an implementation brief you keep either way. The fee is credited toward your first build if you proceed.
Starting with AI Training only
A short department survey, one stakeholder call, and a lightweight curriculum plan.
05 / Monthly Rhythm
A consistent cadence, when all three are active.
Week 1
Strategic Review
KPIs, roadmap progress, and next month’s scope and priorities.
Week 2
Workflow Design
A design session for the next build on the roadmap.
Week 3
Build & Sign-Off
Build, test, and async sign-off with the department head.
Week 4
Training & Reporting
Department training session, an Ambassador session, and the monthly progress report.
When fewer services are active, the cadence adjusts. Idle weeks don’t generate meetings or deliverables.
06 / The Long-Term Arc
The goal is your independence, not a permanent retainer.
Your ambassadors move from learning to building to running the program themselves, and your service needs shrink to match: three services, then two, then one, or project work on demand. Graduation isn’t a special event. It’s what happens when a team no longer needs what it’s paying for.
07 / Get Started
Ready to start?
Every engagement starts with a conversation. We’ll walk through where you stand, what’s possible, and whether we’re the right fit.
